The Best Natural Skin Care Brands
Natural skincare products are the key to unlocking vibrant, healthy skin. Introducing our go-to natural skincare brands.
I can vividly recall the 12 months leading up to my decision to create MOTHER SPF. In my late 20s, I began to notice those fine lines creeping onto my forehead; it shocked me, as I truly believed I wouldn’t need to worry about such things until my 40s.
I visited a popular skin care clinic and was quickly informed that the sun damage was already done, that it was too late, and that the only solution for my forehead lines was Botox, a route that simply doesn't resonate with me. I was baffled and equally cursing myself for all those earlier years spent in the sun, baking myself like a chip.
In short, sun damage destroys the skin’s ability to maintain the vital components (such as antioxidants, essential fatty acids, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamins) it needs to look young and healthy. Without daily SPF, the battle for healthy skin really is impossible. Face Barrier is my fav.
Anyway, I opted for Plan B – a peel. About a week later at work (I was in finance before diving into MOTHER SPF), I started to notice little bits of dead skin all over my desk. I thought, surely this can't be great for your skin! My face was peeling like I had third-degree burns and was so irritated that I had to stop using skincare completely.
At the same time, I started to uncover all the toxic chemicals used in our everyday skincare products, which led me to explore natural skincare options. Initially, I thought that natural skincare wouldn't really deliver the results I was looking for, but since I wasn’t seeing any improvements with my chemical based products (I was using Rationale back then), I figured at least with a natural routine, I wouldn’t be slathering on all those chemicals that can do rogue things to your hormones —so that felt like a win for my fertility!
I switched to natural skincare and a mineral SPF. And you guessed it—just a few weeks later, my skin looked more radiant than ever before.
The more I delved into this topic, the more I truly grasped why natural skincare products hold the secret to vibrant, healthy skin. You can discover the details here and here.
In essence, they communicate with the skin in its own unique language. Natural ingredients are brimming with healing nutrients that harmonise with the skin, sharing the same remarkable regenerative qualities as the oils and nutrients found within our bodies. This profound bio-match enables these ingredients to work with your skin, rather than against it.
Just like every part of our body, our skin is composed of living cells that require vital nutrients and oxygen to thrive. Therefore, what we choose to apply to our skin must not only be safe but also nourishing and enriching. Hello natural skin-identical skincare!
Here are some of my favourite natural skincare brands! Before you dive in, I’ve got a few friendly tips to keep in mind.
Tip 1: Remember, less is often more! Even though these skincare recommendations are natural, you want to let your skin do its thing. Use skincare to support its natural functions rather than overwhelm it.
Tip 2: I’ve noticed the biggest improvements in my skin come when I pay attention to my sleep, nutrition, and overall mental, physical, and spiritual health. In short, don’t rely on a natural eye cream to hide those bags if you haven’t been getting your 8 hours of beauty sleep this week.
Tip 3: Don’t expect immediate results.

Pro Logic - Incredible Corneotherapy range.
** Note**
While synthetic ingredients can act quickly, they may also be somewhat invasive and can lead to unseen harm. Though their chemical components might provide instant satisfaction and visible effects, prolonged use of these substances may ultimately weaken and damage your skin as your body works to adapt to them. This can reduce oxygen exchange to the skin, potentially leading to premature ageing and an increased risk of developing sunspots.
It's good to remember that natural skincare might not provide the instant results that synthetic ingredients often do. With natural options, it's a journey towards long-term skin health, and the skin results you achieve are definitely worth the wait!
Welcome to the era of actually ageing gracefully
